The 7.62 mm Kalashnikov machine gun (PC) is a Soviet machine gun developed by Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov as a single machine gun for the Soviet Armed Forces. The PC was adopted by the armed Forces of the USSR in 1961.
